Alamat is a Filipino weekly Philippine anime anthology to be broadcast by GMA Network and produced by GMA News and Public Affairs. The first season of the anthology anime show premiered on July 12, 2015 and also aired worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV and aired its finale on August 16, 2015. The program features the voices of various artists of GMA Network. Alamat season 2 is set to premiere in May 15, 2016.
This season of Alamat is also a step up from last year’s ground breaking debut on television. Aside from animation, the new Alamat also features live action drama with more song numbers and magical stories that the whole family will enjoy.
